There’s the Tasmanian Trail too, a fantastic gravel adventure following dirt roads and forestry trails for 500km from Devonport on north coast to Dover in the south.
LongHaul Tasmania is a mobile service we will meet you with your bike at your accommodation or point of arrival so you can load your panniers and ride away.
If you wish we can look after your suitcases or bags until we meet to pick up your bikes and gear at your departure point at the end of your tour.

Touring Bike hire perfect for Tasmania
Our fleet of Vivente Anatolia and Kona Dr Dew touring bikes are sturdy, comfortable and reliable, exactly what you need for riding in Tasmania, whether on a classic day ride, a gravel grinding mission or a three week tour around the State.
Each bike is equipped with mudguards, a rear rack, and is supplied with a helmet, pump, spare tube, puncture repair kit, lock and multi tool.

Our bikes come with three pedal options:
Flat Pedals
Shoes are not attached to the pedal in any way. Can be used with any footwear.
Traditional Toe Clips
Shoes are loosely attached to the pedals with toe straps. Can be used with any footwear.
Shimano Clipless Pedals
Special shoes required with small metal cleats that physically attach shoes to the pedals.
Ortlieb Back Roller Classic Rear Panniers
Ortlieb Back Roller Classics panniers waterproof and tough. The best panniers for cycle touring. Guaranteed to keep your gear dry if it rains. It does sometimes in Tassie!
Ortlieb Front Roller Classic Panniers and Tubus Tara Low Rider Rack
If you are carrying more gear than will fit in rear panniers complete the set on your Vivente tourer with a pair of Ortlieb Front Roller Classic panniers and Tubus Tara low rider front rack.
